WHY CHOOSE GULF MEDICAL AND DIABETES CENTER

We are a multidisciplinary medical center with 20 specialties, Diabetes & Endocrinology, Nephrology, Neurology, Oncology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, Urology, and Gynecology, to name a few. We are excited to share that we will be transforming into a Hospital, soon, that will cater to in-patient services, as well as, other added medical specialty and services.

The purpose built Center originally opened as an affiliate of the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston in 2004. Since 2008 the Center has operated independently as the Gulf Diabetes Specialist Center. In August 2018 the Center changed its name to the Gulf Medical and Diabetes Center to better serve its patients and the wider community. Services include the management and treatment of diabetes, endocrinology, ophthalmology, neurology, podiatry & foot health, rheumatology, gastroenterology and hepatology, cardiology and GP clinic, supported by modern radiology, laboratory, pharmacy and nutrition services.

Gulf Diabetes Specialist Center is a medical center located in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain. It is primarily devoted to the treatment of diabetes and its related complications. It is an outpatient medical center that provides diabetes prevention programs and education and treatment for people with diabetes and their families. The facilities cover a range of functions including the management and treatment of adult and pediatric diabetes and metabolic disorders. The center was opened under the patronage of the Bahraini prime minister Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa.
