Mr. Ismail is currently the Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information under the Ministry of Finance, Kingdom of Bahrain. He is appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Gulf Diabetes Specialist Centre. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of Pension Fund Commission, Member of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Car Park Company, Member of the Bahrain Auditors and Accountants Association.
Mr. Ismael Almarhoon holds a High Diploma in International Taxation from the Southern Methodist University in USA with a Management Diploma from the Gulf Technical College in Bahrain, and an MBA in Financial Management from the University of Dundee in UK.
His fields of expertise include the formation of administrational strategies, policy direction and Guidance, monitoring of financial projects, establishment and implementation of IT strategies and formation of financial training programs.
In addition to his administrational positions in Gulf Diabetes Specialist Centre, Pension Fund Commission, and Bahrain Car Park Company, Mr. Almarhoon was appointed as a member of Management Improvement & Monitoring Committee by His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa in 2002 and as the Head of Government Procurement Team for negotiations of Free Trade Agreement with USA, in 2004.
Ms. Tala Fahkro is currently the Director of Market Strategy and Intelligence at Economic Development Board (EDB) in Bahrain, Vice Chairman of Gulf Diabetes Specialist Center and BSC (c).Board Member of Bahrain Development Bank.
She has extensive experience of 13 years of structuring and portfolio management at Morgan Stanley in London, Gulf International Bank, the Saudi National Commercial Bank and NCB Capital in Bahrain.
Ms. Fahkro is a well-rounded professional with multiple skill sets not only in banking, but as well exhibits comprehensive knowledge of how government works, legal and structural aspects of private equity transactions, private equity and mutual fund structures, hedge funds, credit derivatives, structured finance and alternative investment products.
Ms. Fahkro graduated a dean’s lister from Smith College, Northampton in Massachusetts, U.S.A with a Bachelors of Art degree in Economics. She also holds a Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) from the Georgetown University Law Center in Washington D.C.
Mr. Khalid Yousif Ali Meshkhas is currently working for Bahrain Development Bank in the position of Deputy General Manager under the Support Services Division. A Board Member representing Bahrain Development Bank in the following companies: Gulf Diabetes Specialist Center and Bahrain Specialist Hospital BSC (C) and Estate Company for Health Services WLL.
Mr. Khalid holds an Associate Diploma in Accounting from University of Bahrain and Advanced Banking Diploma from Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF). Mr. Khalid has gained 26 years of combined banking experience from conventional & Islamic Banks. During his career he has worked with National Bank of Bahrain and Al Salam Bank in various operation departments such as Loans, Time Deposit, Money Transfer, Commercial Services, Customer Services and Treasury back-office. He has also worked in the marketing field which includes Retail & Commercial Banking. He joined Bahrain Development Bank in 2011.

Mr. Emilio Escartin holds a BSc in Business Administration from CUNEF (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain), holds a General Management Program (postgraduate) from IESE Business School (Universidad de Navarra, Spain), FIPED Program of Microfinance (diploma) from HARVARD Kennedy School of Government (HARVARD University) and a Corporate Finance Program focus on Companies Valuation (diploma) by IE Business School (Madrid, Spain).
He has more than 19 years of experience in Private Equity activity, Investment Banking (buy side) and M&A (sell side) with deep knowledge of Professional Standards for the Private Equity and Venture Capital Industry. Ha has taken part in direct investments and in the whole live cycle of a Private Equity Fund: Legal Structuring, Fundraising and Placement, Investing, Monitoring and Exit and have managed four Private Equity Funds (EBN VACCARIA FUND, EBM ALISMA FUND, EBM PRINCIPIA FUND and DIANA CAPITAL FUND I).
Experienced in Fair Market Valuations and structuring M&A deals. Buyouts, Due Diligences Processes and corporate banking. During his career he worked as an Investment Director of Private Equity of EBN CAPITAL (General Partner of Private Equity of EBN BANK) in Madrid (Spain), where he managed 3 Private Equity Funds (1 Startup Fund and 2 Funds specialized in Growth and Buyouts). He was member of the Board of Directors of EBN CAPITAL, Pescanova, Textura, Cadena Q and Nekicesa.
He was Director of BDO Corporate Finance and Transaction Advisory Services (M&A, Due Diligence, Valuation and Fairness opinions) in Madrid (Spain).
He also worked as an Investment Director of DIANA CAPITAL in Madrid (Spain), (private equity firm raising DIANA CAPITAL FUND I) and Senior Associate of M&A of Finconsult-Gesconsult, a subsidiary of CCF-Charterhouse, bank owned by HSBC.
Mr. Abdulla is currently working for Osool Asset Management B.S.C. (c) in the position of Head of Internal Audit. He has extensive experience of 14 years in Audit, Assurance and Business Risk Consultancy. Prior to joining Osool, Mr. Abdulla was a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young and he worked there for 11 years. During his tenure in the in Ernst & Young, he worked on and managed various audit and consultancy projects related to corporate governance, risk and control assessment, operational risk, internal audit and compliance program.
Mr. Abdulla graduated from the University of Bahrain with a BSc in Accounting. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in United Kingdom and a member of the Institution of Internal Auditors (IIA) in the United State. Abdulla is also a Certified Associate Professional Risk Manager (APRM).
Sara Khalil Nooruddin joined Ossol Asset Management in June 2013. Ms. Nooruddin currently works as a Senior Analyst in Alternative Assets covering Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Infrastructure and Real Estate. Prior to joining, Ms. Nooruddin worked as a Private equity Analyst at Gulf International Bank.
Sara Nooruddin is a Board Member of Gulf Diabetes Specialist Center, Royal Maternity Hospital and a Founding Board Member and current Board Member of Dreams Society, Bahrain. Ms. Nooruddin holds a B.B.A with a concentration in Finance from George Washington University, and is a C.F.A. Charterholder.
